French Disco

French Disco

Sean lived in a quiet corner of San Francisco where the sun never shined and the summers were an endless wave of rolling fog banks. He passed the time recording foggy songs on his dusty tape recorder in the basement. When Sean met Myriam his first words were "Hell is other people". Myriam's immediate reply was, "Hell is oneself!" French Disco was born.

Soon after Ravi and Tina joined the band. This lineup released the first EP, Twilight Idols. Idoles du Soir from this first EP can be heard on our Myspace site. Then, the earth of that shady hill began to shake violently as Jason appeared silently in a sliver of sunlight, his dusty bestickered guitar case in hand, ready to join the FrenchDiscoGuild.

In March 2006, French Disco began writing and recording material for their second EP ICON with Jason their new guitarist. French Disco was recently joined by veteran bassist John Dumont who is helping paddle the French Disco craft toward what forlorn and naked souls helplessly await French Disco's slow moving rescue attempt. He plays a Rickenbacker bass...And that's just undeniably cool.
