Superzapper Recharge

Solo++ project of Sacramento-based guitarist Blake William. Mainly serving as an outlet for soundscapes, drones, looping, and in rare cases, noise rock improv ensembles.

The project sprang about in September of 2007 with an invitation to play Sacramento Audio Waffle. After acquiring a pair of reel to reel tape machines, Blake discovered that "Frippertronics" is a great way to perform independently. He has since continued to play around the greater Sacramento area with these devices, sometimes with guest musicians, and on special occasions, disregarding tape altogether.

The music can shift from delicate and quiet, to loud and paranoid at will. All live performances are improvised and serve as an emotional outlet for the immediate situation.
