Vir

Oakland based Vir (formerly Montana), write and perform dynamic and intense songs of a shoegazer aesthetic. Formed sometime in late 2003 / 2004 over two hemispheres, the band focus on combining fragile and melancholic elements and melody, coupled with dense washes of reverb and drone. the band's debut, self-produced e.p "good night" was finished this year and is currently looking for a home on an indie label. Currently the band are playing bay area venues and writing towards a full length due later this year.
